Your Certified Personal Trainer

I am a CanFitPro (Canadian Fitness Professionals) Certified Personal Trainer that has been an advocate to physical fitness through example for over ten years. My professional training career began in 2017 in this time have not only helped my friends and family reach their goals but further my understanding of why fitness is important. Now with more then 5 years experience and over 50 successful clients, I have gained a great deal of practical knowledge to help people of any skill level and specific needs.

Alex's Story

I was always an active child which led to my parents buying a family gym pass when I was 14. This was my first real taste of training and immediately was inspired by what the human body and mind could accomplish.

Over time, I have developed effective and safe techniques for body weight movements, machines, free weights, and functional equipment. I am a big advocate of living by example.

In 2016 I started focusing on the personal goal of competitive powerlifting and strongman training in order to build a solid foundation of strength based movements and a style of lifting that would be practical in my day to day life.

Understanding that not everyone wished to train that way I underwent certification into the largest national organization that was recognised in Canada, CanFitPro. That way I could reach all types of clients no matter their fitness needs and personal goals. I continued my education over the years to incorporate a further understanding of proper lifting techniques, nutrition, and behavior consultation.

"Fitness was one of the only consistent things in my life when moving across North America and no matter where I was, I always found a way to be active and train. My goal as a trainer is to share with others what training did for me and I want to share how fitness can change a person's life."
