How exactly does the online personal training work? 

Online training requires commitment on your part to follow the program. I will create a specialised fitness program based on your needs and goals and it will be up to you to follow it. I will track your progress and help keep you motivated through Email and Zoom or Skype correspondence.

What payment options are available? 

I can accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, credit card, or Paypal

How will I be held accountable? 

With each program you will be given log sheets for your workouts and a nutritional journal. It will be your responsibility to complete these forms and submit them to me weekly through email, and meet with me to discuss your results either once per week or once per month through Zoom or Skype. 

What if I have no desire to exercise in a gym facility and prefer an at home program?

No problem, I specialise in individual program designs. Just tell me what resources you have for exercising and I will tailor a program for you.

I’m interested in home visit training sessions, where do we start?

Depending on your location, I can definitely make this happen! The first step is making contact and we can discuss further details on location, schedules, etc.

Is there an assessment phase? 

Yes there is, during your consultation we complete the PAR-Q and client information sheet which will serve as a screening tool. Next, optional front and side photos are taken, and your resting heart rate, height in centimetres and weight in pounds will be measured. Once completed you will email this info to me, where it will be placed into your 100% confidential training profile.

What form of fitness testing or physical assessment will be done?

During your assessment your height and weight, waist circumference, and resting heart rate will be measured with my help and noted. I will also make note of any medical or physical conditions that might effect your exercise. I will even consult with your medical professionals and therapists to ensure your safety.

How will you make sure that I'm using correct form when exercising? 

Every program comes with detailed step by step exercise instructions to ensure proper form is understood. I also have an exercise library on the website you are welcome to use. 

What if my working schedule keeps me from a consistent structured fitness routine?

Working with you every step of the way includes accommodating your program for what resources you have available. Whatever the barriers may be, I will do my best to make sure your program works for your current needs, including sudden changes.

How often would my exercise program change?

How in depth is the nutrition aspect?

Through your food logs, I can monitor your food choices and educate you on how to make healthier ones. This will assist you in developing healthy eating habits and creating a food goal. I also talk about nutritional behaviour. There is no shame in your eating, I understand everyone has a different food background, culture, and palate. 

What happens once my chosen term has been completed? 

At this stage we discuss the next step towards your fitness goal. Whether it be branching off into your own exercise routine, or signing on for another term to maintain accountability if needed. 

What computer software is required to begin?

The software required is Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or Numbers, and Zoom or Skype.

How do we correspond? 

You will need a Zoom or Skype account for the bi-weekly visit, and a valid email address for the email correspondence. 

Do you cater to International clients? 

Unfortunately, this service is only available in English and in Canada at this time.  

What if I wish to freeze my term for the duration of a vacation? 

Instead of freezing your term for a vacation, a temporary vacation exercise plan can be worked out for you. This will help establish exercise as a lifestyle habit for you.
